Not to long ago a friend of mine tried to tune my ECU which currently is the stock one. Unfortunately he said that it kept overriding whatever he tried putting in. Now I'm not that religious but could it be that my ECU has a mind of its own??? Anyways, I was wondering if anyone was successfull in tuning a stock ECU and well I'm not trying to be lazy but I didn't really see anything that was close to my situation. I currently have a 90' LX

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

P.S.- go through MRX at fushigi, that ericks place (no offense) blows.. ok they tune ur ECU ya, but guess what, they dont know what to tune it for, parts and even if they did, u would be screwed cause the climate and level above sea level or elavation change, and another thing, ya they might sell good brand clutches, but i think 1000 dollars for a base model clutch and 4.50 for each V-power NGK plug is expensive... anyways, go through MRX, he has tuned a map and sockets ECU`s so u can either run his chip, or have another burned at a tuning shop for best flow, and he was able to pull 12-15 or something like that ft lbs of torque more at 2.2k-2.8k on the stock F22 motor.. no H.P. though, and why u ask, the low compression of the F22 engine doesn`t make it very easy to make power up that high, and if u dont like it have another chip burned at a shop, that place is a rip-off and i would rather have mine tuned by MRX through Fushigi....

All usdm cb7's are OBD-1. This is why we can swap out our ecu's for other obd1 ecu's and do absolutely no wiring.
Anyways, LXaccord92 said it exactly like i said it, its very difficult to get power out of n/a f22 through ecu tuning. This thread is an explanation to it all
