Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

f22a1 lude upgrade question...

    f22a1 lude upgrade question...

    I have a 92 prelude s.

    It has a f22a1 engine @ 135HP.

    It has the crappy single runner intake manifold and header, that same as the accord dx/lx.

    I've decided to get an h23 intake manifold, an ebay header (similar to the accord f22a4) and a cold air intake.

    Does anyone know how much HP I would gain from these 3 mods?

    Edit: Will I notice much of a difference?

    to the wheel, maybe 10hp. and i could be wrong, maybe its different for the 92's... but my 91 f22a1 was only 125hp.

      minimal, prob notice better throttle response than anything.

        Doesn't sound like it will be a large difference.

        Well maybe I'll attempt the h23 hybrid...

          You'll notice a difference... 10hp is a decent gain.

            Alright, I'll do the I/E manifold swaps first. See how it feels, and then debate an the h23 head swap.

            My only concern is I only have about 95K on my motor and it's running very well. If I screwed up on the head swap I'd feel like crap.
