Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    samco hoses finallly

    hi guyz, ive just recieve my hoses to replace the stock hoses theyre made by a company called samco sport i dont know if you guyz are familiar with the name....but theyre leading manufacture of of sillicone hoses in the europe maybe there in the states as well i dont know but any way here a picture as ive posted it in the wrong post...... shame any way have a look

        so what are the hoses for?...i mean, i know what hoses are for but what do the samcos replace...which hoses?

          What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

          You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

              From the pic, I'd say that the kit includes both radiator hoses, the heater hoses, and the bypass hoses. I'd like to get some of these someday...

                  Uh... You mean only for the hoses that have coolant in them? Yeah, all of the hoses I listed have coolant running through them. You can get silicone vacuum hose from most parts stores or on eBay. The cooling hoses are where you really want the durability of silicone though.

                      Yeah, these are nice... $200+ it looks like through www.sporthoses.com... wow!!! If I had an extra 2 bills to toss out the window, I'd pick a set up! But seriously though, I think it'd be a good investment if you're racing the car....
