    Canadian Auto Parts

Hi I live in Canada, I've bought a few things out of the states and when they get here, I have to pay $50-$70 customs. This hardly makes it worthwhile seeing as I have to pay for shipping from the states on top of that. Does anyone know any websites that sell Cb7 parts in Canada?

    Thanks

theres a couple guys on ebay who sell accord parts in canada, but i most def. feel your pain. ive bought one thing from the states, a 99$ aem intake, which i had to pay 37$ in taxes and customs fees. what the fuck? for aftermarket accord parts look in the classifieds section and get the seller to send it USPS as a sample. that way you pay no customs fees or taxes.

Yea i've been bought some parts off ebay and have had to pay through the arse for custom fees and all this junk. I don't think i've ever seen a canadian person selling cb7 parts on ebay. but yeah what do you mean by "as a sample"?

Yah what do you mean "as a sample." I bought an a6 mani off this board and he sent it as a gift and that only took off like $70. If he wouldn't have sent it as a gift I would have had to pay $150 in taxes\customs. That is just insane, thats more then I even payed for the mani. Sometimes Canada sucks.

I think what he meant 'as a sample' is 'as an example'. If you buy it off a private seller, all they have to do is to pay shipping to the location. I bought an Accord smoked bug deflector off a guy in Edmonton AB 2 years ago, and even though it was $18USD shipping, there were no duty fees shipping into the United States; it just took a while to ship via UPS Ground thru Customs in Montana.

I've also sent a 1989 Ford Tempo headlight to an individual in Burnaby BC and I was only charged $15 by FedEx Ground.

I did not have to pay Duty or Importation Fees for either the sent or received item, and I live all the way in Texas.

So from now on I when I buy stuff from the states I should ask for it to be shipped as a gift or a sample and I'll be able to bypass on the duty fees and crap? Cause if thats right i wish I would have known that a while ago lol would have saved me a lot of money

before you send payment ask the seller if they can ship it as a gift, this is where ebay comes in handy. Everything ive ordered from the states that has sent as a gift, ive never payed a dime in extra fees.

                    looking for:
forged pisons, polyurethane bushing kit, UR crank pulley, cam gear, want to send my camshaft to Delta, also want to send my TB to maxbore. Rebuilding my engine, so I'm getting quite a few items.

Yah, so ask them to ship it USPS as a gift and I shouldn't have to pay?

Thanks for the help... its tough for us Canadians...

Thanks so much for the sites\help guys. By any chance does anyone know of anyone in Canada who does cam regrinds like Delta?? How bout throttle body boring. I think I may just send my parts to Delta/Maxbore if I don't find a place and get them to send it back USPS as a gift and see how that goes.
