Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

the pXX just designates what engine it orginally came with. They all do different things, and you can usually tell that by what engine they came with.

What will throw you for a loop is people using different ECU's w/ different engines. Then it gets fun

Dead Right, You may also find that they may be pinned or wired differently and also mapped differently depending on the vehicles overall setup or model designation. i.e F22Ax, F22Bx, H22Ax or H23Ax. Vehicle Configurations, Vehicles Sprung & Unsprung Weights, Wheel Rolling Diameters, Transmission & Differential Gearing, just to name a few, all come into the equation when they design the ECU's.

The f22a6 has a PT6 ecu, the po6 is just the most popular to use as far as chipped ecu's because the PT6 and the PT3 cannot be chipped by conventional methods.
