Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    i heard at least with the pacesetter catback exhuast that that black paint burns off and makes a bad smell for like 3 days so im guessing itl do the same with that ....id go with the megan or dc headers they seem to be the favs. around here..havent heard of any problems with them

            just installed my megan header.

            put about 1100 km on it, greaat so far, cheap and fitment was perfect.

              pacesetter is trash.....the paint burns off smells like crap they rust very quickly. there design is fairly good jus poorly executed if you have pacesetter take them off and follow these directions
              sand the crap out of it
              paint with extremely high temp paint
              wrap with high temp wrap
              then reinstall
              you will remove hot air from your engine bay, and you dont have to worry about a hole coming through from rust
              just my .02
