Exhaust question

i have the custom 2.5 pipes with header and muffler it does not sound as good as i like it is more like shit i am looking for the more mellow tone what can i do to get this?

yes, a resonator would calm the rasp down quite a bit and give it a more mellow rumble.

i have one of the high flow cat which they call it a resonator from ebay and a muffler would it help to get like a skunk2 muffler or a better than i have now

does anybody have anyexperience with the cheap ebay exhausts? Im going to turbo my car so that should turn down the volume alittle bit but i have heard that they rust really easily but if there stainless it shouldnt really matter. What you all think?

Exhaust question

I just installed my new exhaust and have a question. First off below is the parts that was installed:

DC-Sports Header
Megan Racing High-flow Cat
HIMOTO(TENRAI) Stainless Steel 2.5" catback system


Now on to my question. When excellerating the vehicle I get a small whistle at lower RPM's and when the car speeds up and generally when shifting into 2nd gear (automatic tranny) it stops whistling. I do have a short ram intake on the car as well. Does anyone have any ideas?

I must say tho the header was a pain in the azz...other than that it was a 4 hour job...had a buddys garage so we had lift access or i would still be working on it prolly..lol

I have used eBay exhausts in the past and no probs with them..I just installed a complete eBay system to and am really happy with it...

I run a 2.25 tubing from the cat to my Magnflow muffler. Had a local shop do the bending welding. It very nice.

I must say 1 thing before using cb7tuner.com any further....I am a member at another Honda forum and actually have quit using it. This site is awesome and the folks here are just the best for info and extremely fast in response. The other place took days sometimes to get an answer...
