For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    ChronicBoost/Soysaucecb7 Uberdata journey!

this is our uberdata tuning journal

Ok guys well, Chronicboost is a crazy mofo and is running a F22 with some secrets i cant tell and a HUGE turbo. Anways he contacted Antoine(MRX) for some good uberdata ecu. Anyways after getting a hold of Antoines ecu work and some various misc items for uberdata rob(chronicboost) called me up just to let me know he got the hardware and was ready to tune, but was having some technical difficulties. So, being in a good mood, i headed over to his crib at around 8 pm. When i arrived we checked couple things including dizzy timing, feul pressure, and what base map was loaded on uberdata. After some tweaking we realized the problem of having the idle pig rich wasnt going to be easily fixed! We played with feul pressure, and the settings in uberdata before we realized something was VERY screwy. So we realized two things, perhaps the 550cc injectors were to large, or the maps we were going to start tunning off of was wack. Well after some inspection we finally realized what the problem was. Our duty cycle was showing a -8173 milisecond duty cycle! WTF IS THAT! . Anyways after some reading we decided to close up at around 11:45 and continue tomorow.

Well today we got together around 1:00 pm, rob already put in his old 450cc injectors just to make life easier and we immediatly uploaded a new map this time having all proper duty cycle data and reasonable maps. Well se started it up and a couple more sexy inputs to the map she was idleing absolutly perfectly! We were so happy! after trying to find all our problems this bad boy was for the first time not pig rich and no longer sounding like crap box. It was smooth, sexy, and just wanted to be loved! Well we then started tuning the tables from 24-19 in/hg, just to get our closed throttle maps correct. and then we started tuning under different engine loads via street tune. We tuned pretty much up to 0 Vac where we were on the verge of boosting. With rob behind the wheel and watching RPM, and me watching AF and Vac, we were very efficient at making mods on the fly! I cant tell you how much Ostrich made our lives so much easier!! THANK YOU ANTOINE! Freaking loved not having to burn dam rom's. Anyways ill try to update this thread on where the tuning is.

Yeeaahhh mannn! my boy John hooked that shit up! Dude, i still cant believe we were using goddamn negative duty cycles, how the fuck was it even runnin at all! haha... That version 25 of Antoines map was a great base.... i did a lil bit more tuning by my lonesome earlier tonight... got into boost so we a got a full sloppy base tune for now so shes fully streetable, now we just gotta tweak her next time were both free.... we got the process down packed thou!

We got the hang of it pretty quick after only like 2 hours total of workin with the program. Its hella easier than it looks... only thing we gotta learn now is tuning the ignition... i need to get my EGT gauge hooked up and installed this week so i can start to eff with the timing now... other than that we alll jesus!

Somebody should make a DIY VID on uberdata.

well definatly share pics and video, but as of today rob and I ran into a SERIOUS fucking problem. He was on his way to my house when all of a sudden the car started running like complete garbage. When i arrived i noticed the intake mani pressure at idle(very rough shitty idle, CRAZY RICH) was only about 10 IN/HG, This is most likely caused by a vacum leak. After some investigation we found some faulty and leaking enjector gaskets. After replacing them the hissing stopped but the car didnt run better.
                    We tested.
                    1.Plug wires
                    2.all vacum lines
                    3.Vacum gauge
                    4.MAP sensor box
                    5.All couplings for turbo
                    6. All connections to injectors etc
7.Ecu and uberdata software including all batteries etc
We cannot find this problem. We spend a good 4-5 hours of diagnosis and still cant find the problem. The uberdata wont respond to my inputs even when trying to fix the idle. for exampls i tried to lean out the idle using the 10 in/hg table but to no prevail. So something is REALLY fishy. When we datalogged the MAP box it acted completely flat and never fluctuated. When we replaced it, no fix..If you have any ideas please let us know.

Soo hopefully we'll be making our way back on the journey soon... Craig just got back to me today... there was a broken pin on my Ostrich, the MAIN power source pin... so he said that its a very good posibility it was slightly bent and snapped off from the vibrations over time... he's sending me back a chip burner this time, so i shouldnt have any more of these kind of issues... I should be gettin her in by early next week so we should be back in buisiness soon, thank god!!! i'll keep yall posted...
