Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Are you gonna try to swap rotors yourself?

yeah....90-97 Accords have pressed-on rotors. You have to pull off the entire splindle and press the hub out to pull the rotor off. The're a pain in the ass! I hate doin those.

Well, I did the rotor over hub swap, and it is well worth it. If you do the work yourself, it is cheaper than having the shop do your brakes, and the beauty is that next time you have to do rotors its just a 30 minute DIY job. I would definately reccommend it.

Only prob is that i have heard that acura is having a shortage on the hubs from the cl(the one part that makes it possible) so you would have to check that out before you start. For more info on it, check out www.accordinglydone.com and go to the stop, drop and roll forum, its a sticky..

Yea, Aero3685 and I tackled his rotor-over-hub conversion and I agree 100% man. If you can afford it, do the conversion right now while you need a new brake setup. Save you time & money in the end man.

Plus it looks nice... I was like

I'm going with this setup + Prelude VTEC FR brake upgrade....soooo tight. Have a new BMC too that I still yet to have to replace. It's not heavily needed now, but I feel it'll need it in near future....preventative maintenance...our 91 SE's BMC already went bad...but I replaced that already.
