Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    -Chikara header
    -any full 2.25 exhaust
    -Short ram intake

i would hope its more than my civic motor:
I/H/E, you'll be lookin at around ~9whp gain... lame too small of engine..

u would get good gains as far as for an accord
but as for numbers in 1/4mile
    u might lose about .2-.3
    NEED RAP BEATS.....

You're probably looking at about a 15hp gain there. However, like sparkle said, a CAI would be better. Not all that much better, but cold air is always better than engine compartment air.
I've also heard bad things about Chikara headers cracking. If you haven't bought one yet, be sure you research before you do. If you have, then good luck!
As for the 2.25" exhaust, be sure you get mandrel bends, and a perforated-core, straight through muffler. Otherwise, you could actually lose power.

Don't go the cheapest route possible. It IS possible to actually lose power if you get cheap shit.

Ditto if you dont wanna do all that get a h22 complete change over if you want some power or go forced induction when your ready.

Just get a stock EX header. Best route if you don't already have one. Get a quality aftermarket exhaust (APEXi, Greddy, Tanabe, DC, etc.) and CAI and you're all set. For the CAI I'd get a AEM for a 92-96 Prelude. Fits just the same and has bigger tubing.

              thanks guys.

i have had a chikara header on my civic already, it was perfect..Brospeed cracks tho, that what it had before and it cracked. FI is for my 91 hatch si... i'm just trying to make this thing sorta quick but mainly for suspension later on.

              my plans for accord:
              chikara header
              hi-flow cat
              2.25 exhaust
              Upgraded clutch
              Lightened stock flywheel ~12LBS
              AEM FPR
              KYB AGX
              Neuspeed sport springs
              strut bars
              sways
              short shifter
