Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Built engine costs...

    what do you think it would cost me for a Built Valvetrain, highcomp pistons, lightweight flywheel, and cams? all of those parts being mid to high end companies and all of them new. they're for an h22a4 that i want to run NA... brand names would be appreciated aswell

        Research is your best friend every company build is different and has different pricing. That is why no one can really give you a straight answer.

          7-10k for fully built block and head with all the machine work and labor. for the job done right it will most likely be more. but if u have connections u can cut costs dramatically. depends on how far u wanna go really...

            yah. i can't decide to boost or N/A. im starting to lean towards boost after i've reasearched this some and such... thanks for the input though
