    datalogging with uber 1.7

quick question for you ladies and gents, last weekend i hooked my ecu to my laptop and began to datalog with uber. I know it is important to select the specific WB you have, so i did (zeitronix2) due to fluxuations in voltage/readings etc...but when i went to zeitronix2 i would get hella error codes, and it would not read due to them, and just bump me down to just regular zeitronix~
so here is my question, under either zeitronix i do not get an a/f ratio value (or i do, but it will go from like positive 3424543 to negitive 2334567) so i am not thinking it is accurate , but when i select the 'innovative' wb setting, it reads great...i just question how accurate it is. I know innovate is another wb, i do not however know whether they use the same o2 sensor as i have (maybe a generic brand or something). Anyone have any insight or information that might help me here?
    thanks for your time

Stop using uber for datalogging. Use the zeitronix program and ecucontrol. They never got the datalogging running 100%.

for some reason i couldnt get ecu control to work...with the o2 sensor select...do i want raw o2 voltage? When i did that it got all fucked up and didnt tell me a correct a/f

      ooo and what is PLX?

PLX is another brand of wideband. Use ecucontrol for rpm, vac/boost readings, air temp, and coolant temp. Use the zeitronix program for a/f readings. Your complicating things by trying to join them all together.

so are you saying to run both programs at the same time?

yes, i actually find it easier. And honestly the only reason to use ecucontrol is to monitor intake air temps and coolant temps. The zeitronix and a vac/boost gauge will take care of everything u need to tune with.

but my laptop only has 1 serial port, and both my cable from my ecu, and the zeitronix are serial

              any way around that one?

Could buy the adapter for the serial-usb! Or if there is one, buy the usb cable for one! !

I just use the serial to usb adapter. if u need to use a usb hub that'd work too

only problem i am running into with ecucontrol, is that i dont have my WB signal interfaced with my ecu so i dont get a WB reading anyways around this?

ok so i think im just gonna get a USB to serial port adapter lol

So what he does is, he uses zeitronix and ecucontrol to datalong, but still use uberdata to tune?? Did that question come out correct?

remember... to datalog with uber you need j12, with crome and ecu control you need to cut j12. I also had greatter result datalogging with a crome map in ecu control than with my uber map.

also.. dont datalog with 1.7 cause that's a beta. Datalog with 1.70, it the last official release i think. 1.94a has new thing but its full of bug and you cannot datalog.
