From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Magnaflow catback

    What do you guys think of the Magnaflow catback? I'm thinking about getting one. As far as I know they have 2.5" piping which is what I'm looking for. Rsr is nice, but it is expensive and the Apexi WS2 I don't think has 2.5" piping. My other option is custom made piping with an aftermarket muffler, but I have to find out the cost of that. Magnaflow also has some nice sound clips on their website and they sound nice not too loud which is also what I'm looking for.

    Works fine for me, and doesn't rust in Ottawa.
    You can order direct from the distributor, but you probably already know that.

        i didnt know there was anyone from ottawa on here
        just did the f22b (DOHC) swap and im tryin to find a nice but cheap exhaust setup too.

          Ive got it as well, Been happy with it, and full stainless construction is important as well. However, if you have aftermarket header, cat,etc, it will be quite loud due to the straight through design.

            I have it too. It's 2.25". Sounded quiet and deep before I added a header and cat. I have an exhaust clip on my member's ride page pre-header/cat. Gonna install smsp cat soon and fix exhaust leak. We'll see'll how loud and what tone it has then. Then get a new sound clip and post it up.
