Is there some stock honda or acura 6 speed tranny that would fit on my f22? Not for performance b/c when would i use 6th? but i just want it b/c I think she idles too high at highway speeds.

nope. at 70mph my car is at 3k rpms. which is right one for the f22 transmission. if you had an h22 trans it would ride around 4k rpms i beleive

the h22 tranny has shorter gearing so it will run higher in the rpms at freeway speeds. but for an h22 4k rpms is ok i guess, i mean it doesnt hit vtec on a stock ecu until 5200 rpms.

you could try getting a wagon (cb9) tranny that were mated with F22A6. they had the longest gears out of all the F trannies. not by much but a bit longer. When im doing 70mph im at about 2800-2850rpms. i got it mated with my F22B for possible future turbo.The CB9 has been reborn into a CB3

My vss is broken but keeping up with highway speed im aorund 3500-4000 rpm with my h23 trans. I think 3000-3500 is about right though.
