Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Hondata ftw but thats money. If not Crome and Uber for the cheaper programs. Really depends on how much your planning to spend and your setup.

hondata s300 hands down.
it WORKS.
Crome PRo is great but its datalogging is flakey, but not enarlyt as flakey guberdata. i like crom pro a lot, but when it came time to tune i always found myself fighting to get a good connection to the car with the laptop. so i bought an s300 and was datalogging in seconds.

Hondata S300. There really is no other. Really easy to work with and datalogging is included. Oh, and they have setups you can use to get started. I used one of the setups that came with the software and the car started right up. Needed a good bit of tuning, but it DID run...Originally posted by Junior SmurffNevermind guys, google search works wonders!

Ive heard the s300 isnt stable or something like that or there are some bugs in there. I heard the S200 was better and more people use it so dunno. YOu could also check out Neptune.

I think the s300 is just the s200 with the necessary software and some extra features...Originally posted by NAiL05Ive heard the s300 isnt stable or something like that or there are some bugs in there. I heard the S200 was better and more people use it so dunno. YOu could also check out Neptune.

the s300 is not the same as the s200 at all.
I have used the s220b, s300, Crome and Crome Pro and even AEM EMS. (AEM overhwhelmed me to be honest, but I got the car running semi decent at idle lol)
I have not experienced any "instabilities" that sounds like an internet rumor to me started by some problems people had with a first release. If that makes it unstable then Uberdata and Crome are inherently unstable.
Of the three:
s200 is great, but to tune it yourself you have to spend a lot on add ons. good stuyff, but doesnt support all that s300 and Crome do.
s300 the best I have used myself. It supports a LOT more than s200 has a better interface, and works every time i need it to work.
Crome/Crome Pro, I love the interface. To me is it is the easiest to use as far as simple fuel and timing tuning. With the proper plug ins it can do a HELL of a lot. the biggest shortcoming is from my experience lack of stability with the datalogging software. Also if you have a problem you have to post and wait til someone else who knows the software better than you or has had the same problem helps you out, or you have to fight with it.
oh and s200 and s300 have similarities but i am pretty confident its a totally different set of code and I know the hardware is different.

Yea the s200 vs s300 thing was what I heard on the net. Because people were asking about going to an s300 from a 200 and people were like blah blah blah this and that so dunno. Some of my buddies run the s200 well like 2 people the rest run crome pro if not neptune.
