From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    H23 Euro-R Intake Manifold?

I was talking to my friend the other day about swapping out my stock intake manifold (A4) for a H23 manifold, and he said to go for the Euro-R one for the most gains. Has anyone done this yet? Would it be better to go for that instead of a regular H23 intake manifold from here in the states? Any input would be great. Thanks!

I do believe the Euro R engine had an H22 head on it which would make the flange bolt pattern different.

Don't quote me on that though.

Plus the fact that that manifold will be designed for top end power which is probably out of reach of the rev range of your F22.

Just because it is a better design for overall HP, doesn't mean that it is a better design for overall HP on YOUR setup.

the Euro-R engine is an h22a. the manifold will not fit the f22 heads without a lot of work.
