Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    whats wrong with my h22 accord?

    since I got my swap I noticed when I acclerate uphill I feel the car *cough* like a sudden lost of torque. then when I shift exhaust seems to bogle but not to much, just when I shift it has tiny and slight backfires. and I smell way to much gasoline fumes inside the car. I'm suspecting that I might be running rich. how do I fix this richness problem?

      any check engine lights and what fuel are you using it had better be 93 octane. Yo nail i think the knock sensor is messin with him.

              Knock Sensor could be retarding your timing which messes up your performance. Basically what sparkle mentioned earlier. YOu using the right octane gas and stuff?

                I'm using 92 octane wich is the highest over here in washington state. and no CELs. BUT! I had to replace my alterator because the plugs where fried for some reason. and even right now, the harness wires that goes to the alterantor have electrical damage, they feel soft and feel like their gonna crumble if I keep on beding them. and Once in a while my car will start but idle goes down then dies, could this be the suspect???
