Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    clutch/flywheel question

Im swapping to a F22b in a month and am trying to get feedback on the clutch/flywheel. Im planning on getting the Centerforce Dual Friction clutch and the ACT Streetlite flywheel (12.9lbs). Any thoughts? Someone told me the Centerforce is too strong for this setup, just want to know what you guys think.

Its more "bite" than you need, but it wont be a problem unless you can't get use to it.

quite a few guys including myself are running the XTD clutch and flywheel from ebay. mine works and feels great. chirps in 2nd with no problem at all. i have a stage 1 clutch and 12lb flywheel and for 200 bux i couldnt ask for more. if you go with the stage 2 xtd and they flywheel you should be fine. centerforce is awsome but it might be a bit of an overkill unless you will turbo.

You can use the centerforce it grabs nicely. But XTD is the cheaper alternative (running a stage 3 myself) and it works. But its up to you and how much you want to spend man.
