Spoon CB7 Exhaust?

A guy is trying to sell me this "spoon" CB7 exhaust, and i'm considering buying it. i didn't know spoon made an exhaust for the cb7, so i wanted to get you guys' input on it. he couldn't tell me what size it was, so i gotta go check it out in person, but here it is, he wants $300, lemme know if u think its a good deal.
(i currently have ebay header/downpipe w/highflow cat w pacesetter-monza 2.5" cat back. i need a new downpipe anyways, since mine is bashed in from riding too low.)

300 huh?...you can get a "Spoon" header off of ebay for around 140 shiped...and its not really a Spoon header...its a knockoff

well then i guess the better question is, is it worth the money? my pacesetter is kinda falling apart, i need a new downpipe like i said, and $300 isn't a bad deal for i/h/e even if it is a knockoff. thoughts?

Spoon really specializes more in the B-series & K-series as far as parts go. They didn't to my knowledge have anything for F-series (besides S2000 engines) or H-series motors. This is the first time i seen a spoon exhaust but i know for a fact that is fake. There are cheap mugen headers and exhausts floating around e-bay with the same overall design with a switched cheap welded on tag in the same exact location.

$300 isn't worth it in my opinion for that exhaust. U can get a better name brand like OBX or Tsudo (i'd pick tsudo) as far as the N1 style but OBX has some decent mufflers and exhausts too depending on the style. Save a little more money and you can get urself a Apexi WS brand new for under $400. or even a real Apexi N1 or WS muffler and get custom piping done for about $300 total.

Randomly u can find Apexi N1 n/a & turbo muffler for $200 shipped on e-bay (plain silver uncolored)....then if u know a decent shop that can do crush-bent piping for cheap u can have a decent setup for under $300.

EDIT: Disregard... i'm tired and re-read the post. $300 for everything? Yeah thats not really a bad deal at all. If smog isn't an issue I say go for it.

Plus anyone coulda done that. Mugen header usually has Jasma imprinted on there if I remember and dunno bout the spoon ones but yea they didnt make one for an accord to my knowledge either. Spoon specializes in civic/teg/s2k chassis mostly as mentioned already.

Id give him 300 for it..thats not bad for everything. Of course we all know it's knockoff..mention that to him maybe he'll come down a few dollars. If not that's still not a bad price for a full knock off exhaust. Just dont rep it as real spoon!

Actually after looking at the pics again it looks as if it had been used for a very short time. None of the stainless parts I got new were discolored at all. If it is used stuff I'd tell him to come down a little bit. You can get all of that on ebay for the same price brand new. I paid ~ $220 for my stainless exhaust and I know i've seen F22 header and cat combos for ~$100.

Hes probably a scammer... If hes willing to lie about the brand, what else is he willing to lie about? Maybe its in crappy condition... hell maybe he won't even send it to ya (if you're getting it shipped). The other guy in the for sale section has a Megan resonator back exhaust for only 150... Thats what i'm rocking and its nice.

either that or he really thinks it is a real spoon exhaust.....I know I wouldn't know the difference between a real one or not beause I've never seen a real spoon anything in person. Or in pics now that I think about it.

it looks just like the megan racing headers and the megan racing catback but $300 is probibly what you would pay for both of those anyway but what ever you want
