Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    dsm external wastegate?

    alright i have a stock dsm manifold and i want to put an exteernal wastegate on it and i have a d16 turbo manifold i want to cut off the flange off the d16 manifold and put it on the dsm manifold... do u guy even this this wuld work...and if so could i just mig it or will i have to go to a machine shop and ge tthem to tig weld it?

    if you need an external wastegate, just get a custom manifold

      just what i perfer...well my friend works at a machine shop said that it would be no prob for him to tig it up for me thats y i was j/w

        arc welding works best on cast. By best i mean the shittiest. My dad welded mine cracked dsm mani(he has over 25 yrs welding experience though...) and its holding strong
