Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    muffler

    ok like many things in my car my muffler is gone, I'm looking for a muffler with good preformance gains but yet not a "rice pipe" I dont like the noise to much attention. also if I do get a "rice pipe" do the scilencers really work to quiet it down ?

    You just want a muffler, not a cat-back? Or do you have a cat-back and need a new muffler? With my experience when you have a stock exhuast and slap on an aftermarket muffler your gonna have a nasty coffe can sound, like a weed-waker. Some one correct me if i'm wrong.

      Hey I just read a few posts down about your custom german exhaust. So sorry I cant help ya on the muffler, dont know much 'bout them. I figure your not gonna get rid of your current pricey system. Good luck!

        well, i just bolted on a muffler and i can assure you i don't have the nasty coffee can sound. it all depends on what you get.

            the custom one is for my show car, i'm looking for one for my daily driver
