From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    will a 94-97 aem v2 cold air fit into a cb?

    i like the way they look and sound. my boy has one in his dc2 and the shit pulls a lil harder than it did with the regular aem cold air. will it fit in the cb? how much modification is required?

    if you get one for the h22 you have to cut the upper portion of the pipe a little bit and move the battery to the trunk. If you get one for your f22 it'll fit right in.

      ^What he said. Since the diameter of the cold air portion is bigger the battery will have to be relocated. I dont think pushing it over will be enough. V2 are pretty big make your car sound loud too.

        yea i plan on getting the one for the f22. i was gonna relocate my battery anyways. so i have to widen the hole next to the battery for the cold air correct? my car is gonna be loud reguardless cause i am getting the es tuning oval muffler installed on 2.5 piping soon and i have no resonator or cat.

          the v2 isn't a cold air set up. If you get one for the 94-97 it will bolt right on.
