Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    Car set up?

I've decide to really go all out in my car. I've decide to put in mostly AEM parts in my car. I have a 91 honda accord with an F22A1 engine in it.
Heres a list of the AEM parts ill be using:
    Cold air intake
    Adjustable cam gears
    Pulley system
    Fuel rail
    Pressure regulator

Also a walbro 255hp fuel pump.

I also plan on doing other upgrades such as radiator, exhaust, etc.

Does any one know any electronics i may need with these products or any suggestions on my car setup?

AEM products are expensive. Besides that, out of all the modifications you listed, the AEM cold air intake will only increase gains and not by much for a stock setup. And before buying an AEM intake, I say stick a cone filter at the end of your stock intake piping and ditch the resonator parts in your wheel-well area. Or ditch the resonator parts and install a K&N stock-like air filter in the housing. This is cheap but effective and you could spend your money elsewhere, then come back and replace with AEM intake if you want.

All the other mods you listed, are what you would do when you have built up your engine and are in the tuning phase. They allow you to maximize the potential of your already built engine.

Before you go all out, what is your budget, realistically speaking, not a "dream/wish list". Also, how much time do you have to do this?

For now, your best bang for the buck in terms of power increase, lies in buying Honda Performance Books, reading up on engine basics and getting involved with forums like this and reading up & learning. I'm serious on this, I'm not dissing you.....doing this alone will bring about more power increase than you wasting your money on parts you think will make you go faster, but won't because you don't know what order to go about it.

Ok, i have a 4K to spent. The only thing i dont want to do is a engine swap. I feel a lot of potential from the F22a1. I was thinking of changing the intake manifold? Now any suggestions.

I know that that i could do a H22 swap but i read carefully i feel potential for the f22 so i rather keep it.

dont kno if i missed it or what, but is it a 5speed or auto?

also, i suggest doing like my homey HondaFan said, about the air intake......i did ( he got it from me....lol

all you do is pull off the air box and all the other crap in the fender thats attached to it, got get a cone air filter, and like 3-4inch pipe, and connect the air filter to the other end of the air intake pipe (where the air box was)
                custom short ram air intake...lol.

                just a suggestion.

Yes finally a new member whp actually does not want to do the swap....good for u, there is potential in that f22a, just read around on thsi site, Accord Tunner, and Honda Society and u will find more than enough information, but with 4 g's u might be bale to get some head work done, and block work, look into JG ENgine DYnamics, or Gude, or CHR......
