Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    exhausts...

    eventually, i want to get a full catback, to go wit my header..i want some options. Give me places and prices, but most importantly, I wand sounds..PLEASE, I need to hear them..my exhaust needs to sound just right..

          Ok, sorry i dont have a 'sound' file for you to hear. But just so you know... i am VERY picky, and very anal about the way my car sounds, and performs of course. Ive gone through many different exhausts, and my most favorate is the Greddy SP catback(i havent tested anything after 2002.) Its decently quiet... i hear mostly engine, which is better in my opinion. I really think its a very nice exhaust system. It never fades color, it always maintains a nice shiney/polished look, and yet it is a nice sound.

            Personal experience w/custom catback: I got a 2.25" cat back w/hi flo cat installed about 2 years ago. For some reason, I feel that when I pull my silencer out I lose low end tq. It's some what noticeable from what I can tell when launching from a dead stop. Is there any validity to this that anyone KNOWS of? ThanKz. PeaCe.
