Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    opinions about kms f22 blockguard

Okay everyone about what point in whp would you consider the need to have a blockguard. And what are some other good names because the that I see now that looks promising is the KMS blockguard from race-engineering.

block guards suck, period. If you dont believe me, then go ask bisi.

sleeve it if you're worried about the sleeves.

Yes, blockguards are not beneficial at all. May even restrict coolant flow.

oh sparkle, we know bankroll aint no thing bro. And no i am not in any way being sarcastic, i too just learned something from this thread! I am glad to see the technology being put into F22 motors these days. What HP and times are you going to be pushing anyway? Goodluck man . Oh sorry to be all off topic and shit but are you totally done with the H series?

Well its funny you should ask that. First off im not done with the h22 just yet. Imma just leave it as is a type s is rare and that tranny i got is rare too. I like the balance of that car as far as allmotorwise and reliability. So im done with the car all i gotta do is the body work on it which is coming soon as soon as it gets warmer out. Im going for mid to low 12's as far as hp im goin for 350whp its slightly less than my h22 setup before it went so i said fuck it lemme go just a little lower and have some balance. Anything over that na dyour not gonna get traction worth shit. Remember too much whp can be a bad thing also. And the turbo f will be driven daily too yup. But as far as the h series nah im not done imma leave it as is for me to tamper with it would be a waste. Maybe for a basemodel yes but not for a type s its good where its at now.

rofl this is the funniest thread seince the can i shift my auto manually thread

there are alot of mis conceptions about the block gaurdd situation.
i am running a kms engineering block gaurd it does not restrict coolant flow
it does hold you cylinders straight most people that have problems with these dont lube the surfaces first nore do they have half a clue at all about these

yes sleeving good idea several hundred dollars more expensive but i have ran 4 2 weeks straight no problems 22 psi with a block gaurd and have yet to have a problem sleeve the thing if you are running more than 25 psi but unless your gonna be doing that there is no point in doing so

                    the build and demise
buy stuff i want a new car

if you're only running 22psi, you wasted your money then.

stock sleeves can handle that much with forged pistons and rods.

                      they can handle 400whp+

I'm also pretty sure that bisi knows what he's talking about.
