Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

when i just went to search it, it came up with a bunch of random topics. what would be a good "phrase" to type in that wouldnt give me a bunch of b.s. that i dont want? i never have any luck with it cause it seems like it always comes up with stuff i dont need

Yea stay away from them, they rust out quickly. I would look into Vibrant flat black mufflers. They produce a nice tone, provided you have a resonator.

Yea, most members (no offense) don't exactly know how to properly create descriptive titles that can aid others. You just gotta have more patience in weeding out the infos that don't help from the ones that would.

For the exhaust, it seems like its getting harder to get that raspy noise nowadays (even custom unless its a cheap ass muffler). It might help by finding out which exhaust system gives off that raspy noise or go for the well known brands. How do you know your current exhaust isn't high performance? What gains are you expecting for your next exhaust versus your old one? Maybe 50whp? 25whp? 10whp? 5whp? 2whp? 1whp? How do you know its not giving you good gains? I hope you do know loud does not equate to power...

As for the header, what is your powerband goal? And what is your price? There isn't any universally "best" part, just a best part suited for one's needs.
For searching I typed in "best header" and got this link
