Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Apex N1 muffler

    Since I am about to get a ebay immitation Apex N1 muffler, I was debating if it was wise or not to angle it. Some say I would lose tourqe and horsepower. Does anyone know off hand how much I would lose? In your opinion is it worth slanting the muffler or just leave it staright. Thanks

        Im not sure but it looks retarded imo Some say yeah it looks cool its liek the car is smokin a blunt from the side. Well the more curves u have in tha piping the more power you lose probably like a good 3 but i rather keep it straight just because of more flow.


        My boy has his curved on his eclipse and everytime he says he comes from mcdonalds or from the gas station it scrapes the bottom of his piping i was like i told you so dumbass now hes got a small hole from scraping there so many times. Do everything in your power not to end up like him or youll see your muffler draggin with some sparks traillin you and the cops on your ass to give you a ticket for anything,ANYTHING!

          Aight, I'm just gonna keep it straight, even though it looks tight, I can't afford to lose any power. Thanks for the feedback
