Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    can i run a p13 without the chip?

    i took the chip out on my p13 broke one of the prongs off then i resoldered another one on and i dunno if i put it in backwards but now it wont work lol solid check engine light/

    someone told me if i cut a wire that itll run??

    where did you get a chipped p13?

    If you can find it, cut j1. That will make it go back to stock.

    getting a chipped p13 was a waste of your money, period. They arent tunable at all. Not for a few years at least.

      lol yeah i know they arent tunable i found j1 on pgmfi i was just making sure that was it. also the jun chip did seemed like to make it run rich, but it did run strong, i wonder if taking out the jun chip will make it run better lol.

      i still dont understand though why im getting the solid check engine

      would putting the chip in backwards fry it?

        no it wont lol i did that a few time on my ecu it just wont start lol well mine didnt anyway also you may have bent pins that will cause the solid cel ....well mine did anyway

          ok yeah i have bent pins but they are not touching?? i think im fucked with this chip.

          so was urs bent and touching or just bent? are they that sensitive lol?
