Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    header bung question

i have an LX, so my exhaust manifold is the cast iron crap with the o2 bung up top where the 4 pipes turn into 1.

if i get a 4-2-1 header with 2 locations for the o2 bung (1 below the DP, and 1 on one of the header pipes), would i want to still extend the o2 wires to reach the bottom hole, or would i be ok using the top hole (even though all 4 header pipes don't meet yet, as the cast manifold did before)?

    thanks

Just use the top hole and leave the bottom plugged. Why do more work than required.

just figured it might be different having all the gasses mixed in at the o2 in my cast manifold now, as compared to only 1 pipe getting the o2 reading precautionary measure couldn't hurt any
