    car died while driving

okay this wasnt the cb7, on the 95' legend coupe. i was driving then all of sudden my tach and speedometer went down like the car was off which was. so i was coasting to the gas station. luckly this wasnt done during daylight, late at night.

my friends and I tried to restart it and it would but it would turn off within 2-3 seconds. then my friend try to step on gas and start which worked, gave it a couple of revs and the car didnt die. i dropped everyone home because i didnt want anymore troubles with the car.

sounds like a fuel pump issue?

    thanks in advance

IF it was fuel pump the car wouldnt want to start again...Could be ignitor goin out.

Could be main relay too forgot about that. Dunno where they are located on the legend though. Pretty sure you can solder it if its the same as accord.

hmm, the relay just makes it not start b/c it keeps fuel from going into the cylinders.
Dunno if it'd be the alarm....
I used to have this problem with my accord, didnt want to start right away after getting heated up, but i dont think its the same as your problem.
... If there were no other problems... have no idea...
Maybe try looking through the shop manual if you've bought one, bout $60. Uh, wait until a honda mech. gets on?

try checking for spark if there's spark then try checking for fuel by loosening the nut on the fuel rail and turn on your key to 3 and a little bit of gas should come out and if there's no gas then it might be your fuel pump

NP man. the reason I didnt want to jump on the main relay is because I dunno how it works for legends. I dunno if the same since civs/tegs control both pump/injectors while accord only pump. So didnt want to jump into that. If you think its your alarm you can reset it by disconnecting the battery. When you start it up a second time does it crap out anymore? I would see if there are any TSB on that year car. I wanna say ignition switch but by the sound of it sounds kinda like it but then it doesnt since ignition switch if it goes bad enough will keep on stallin out. But you can test the ignitor and such to make sure its good and such. But try resetting alarm and check out the main relay if you can find it. I know there has to be a legend forum somewhere I forgot the website name. Acurazine is like TL and stuff but there is one dedicated to the legend/vigor as Irecall might wanna search for one of them.
