Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Performance chips!..Do they WORK?

    well i searched on ebay...and actually find it hard to believe that these work..Especially at such a low price..
    I mean i spent around 40-50 bucks on my Air filter/intake and that only adds about 10-15hp (as said on the product)..and THIS chip is cheaper! WTH?

    all that is is a 5 cent resistor that you stick in place of your air intake temp sensor. all it does is make your car run rich, and probably worse.

    its a ripoff. this topic has been brought up a number of times.

                  My cousin has a crapalier too and he has the electric supercharger and claims a 40 hp gain. HAHAHAHA Dumb Fuck!

                    man, you're a meanie to your cuz haha but i really don't trust or even LIKE electric supercharger/turbocharger...i'd have to drive someone's cb who already has one to be/feel convinced.

                      I have the electric supercharger it give me 100 more HP lol don't believe most of the hype on chips and whatnot its just a scam to make more money. Hell wanna give me 10 buck I'll make a chip for you I'll go to radio shack buy a resistor for 10 cents and sell it to you for 10 bucks sound good ok then
