Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    What do you guys think about this cb7?

    I'm In the market for a cb7 and came across this one on autotrader. He told me it was involved in a accident and he got a new bumper. He said their isn't any rust on the body or quarter panels but their is a scratch on the front fender front which happened from the accident when the bumper scraped it.

    What do you guys think?

      Crap I put it in the wrong forum...

      lol..I didn't even catch that...I talked to him earlier about it. He says it runs good and that he beats late model preludes.. *shrugs*

        Why is there only one pic? If I was selling mine I would diffinately have a pic of my motor if I listed it having a H22..

          I'll be looking at it on Sunday. If I like what I see I'll run a car fax and set a later date to have it inspected by a mechanics (compression and leakdown etc)

            Do you guys think this price is too high? The timing belt and water pump weren't replaced. It appears to be an SH H22a4 (98)

              Does he have the factory Accord transmission in it? It shouldn't really matter but just know what you're spending money on. Also, have him e-mail you more than just those pictures. I'd hate for you to show up somewhere when you could've seen something from the pictures that would have completely turned you off.

                dude I'd sell you mine for $4500 seriously.. so there is no way i would give that price for that.....
                check out my thread and see the modifications and see the difference in the 2 cars lol...


                moderators: i am not trying to sell my car here i am using my car's worth to show this young feller, what he would be doing to himself if he spent that much on this..

                    I had an idea it was a bit high? I'm not sure what cb7s with h22s go for...what do you think would be a fair price...not necessarily a deal but a fair price.

                            i would inspect the car thoroughly and take pictures of it for your reference. i would offer him about 500 less than asking. the engine alone is just worth 1100 and the car about 1500 if it has no rust and is pretty clean. so just go from there.
