Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

I've heard of Gude cams and Delta camshaft performance regrinds for our Accords thus far...then there is always a custom job = lots of $$$. Delta cam offers a 260 and 272 profile. The 260 profile is for mild performance...increase stock throttle response, etc. The 272 is what I believe Lithium92 has and it's more performance related & is suggested to go with intake, header, exhaust, etc.

Someone on here had a bad experience with a Gude came...I believe Lithium92, it snapped on him. He now has a Delta camshaft regrind with over 20K on it and says it works well. So I'd talk to him to get both views on it. He did say the Gude came worked well, when it didn't break I think.

Also, FYI...you should always match your camshaft to your valve springs....the have to flow as one, otherwise you bottom-out the springs or float your valves.

Good luck & please let us know with what you go with. Also, if you find another company that makes them for our cars...it's rather limited it seems.
