Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Bisi doesn't do anything just for looks It certainly won't look like crap, but it will be a proper performance piece with high quality fit and finish.

I have high hopes for this header. Bisi is an incredibly intelligent man, and he understands how such things work. I'm expecting this header to perform as well as (or better than, maybe) the SMSP header. I believe that header showed a gain of 18whp or something? It also costs about twice what Bisi is planning on charging. If the street version only gives 15whp as opposed to the SMSP's 18whp, I'd still choose the Bisimoto piece. For the price, I'd rather save $400+ at the cost of 3whp! That money can be put into something else to make power!

The price that has been mentioned for this header has been in the $600-$700 range. It may not be set in stone, and it may go up. The power numbers I mentioned are just my uneducated guesses, based on minimal research done on other high-quality headers. They're better than nothing, but don't take any of it as FACT... Until the head is on the market, on the cars, and on the dyno, we won't know for sure. All I can say is that I'll be getting a Bisimoto header as soon as they're ready!

Bisimoto's approach is OEM fitment with all accessories P/S and A/C in place.

Also, it will more than likely be a 2.5" collector like the Fseries.

I do not know the sizes of the primaries, etc, that is all Bisimoto information and you're buying it for his knowledge and R&D, why question him? Otherwise, make it yourself.

FYI: I updated the list on first page as of now.

HondaFan can you move me to the maybe list...
I may have something coming up that will require an extended stretch of my funds and I don't want to hold anything up here.

Please remove me from the list,
:reason being: I am by no means impressed with the companies or personal lack of intrest.

i have found others that are more intrested and showing progress in prelude forums.

Don't forget, Bisi is a pro racer FIRST, and a parts manufacturer SECOND.

I'll wait for this. I expect the only other header to offer comparable performance is the SMSP header, and that's twice the price. Of course, I have a lot of work to do to my car before a header is a priority anyway, so the delay is fine.

Deev what would we have to do to ask a magazine company to sponsor a header and a car so it can be tested? I ask because you own a honda web site and you could roughly sway a mag to test a NEW product for an OLD car but none the less it is a all out race product like BISI. Signing a petition or sending in like 1 dollar would be tight or something.

Actually, if everyone sent a dollar to someone who was willing to take the time to dyno a car with and without such a header, it could be done.

I couldn't really sway a magazine... I could try, but this forum isn't really a big deal in the Honda tuning world. We're not Honda Tech, unfortunately... and we deal with one older generation of one fairly unpopular tuner car (among the serious tuners, anyway).

Bisi DOES the testing, though. That's part of what takes so long. The man is an engineer, he makes parts for his own professional race car, and he's an expert on the F22 (and probably every other common Honda motor). Independent testing of his products would further back up his claims, but honestly... I don't think test results are going to reveal anything that Bisi doesn't already tell us. You can tell by his pricing that he's clearly not out to swindle anyone. He's sharing his knowledge and expertise with the tuning world for a very minimal profit.

3/4 of the people on the board cant spend 700 dollars on a dsm turbo kit. 1/2 the people on the board dont want forced induction. and 9/10ths of the board are BROKE. I myself after reading the comparo's on the A6vsA4 header have decided for OE Legit riding the A4 would be my choice but its not worth the work at least to me. I am opting for a 70 dollar header. :shrg:

Keep this ontopic, all unrelated posts will be deleted. This is not a F22 vs H22 thread either! A list will be maintained in the first post of YES and MAYBE.
