Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Pacesetter is cheap crap from what I have experienced. People have experienced others. I have seen crappy welds and it sounds like crap when installed unless you like the sound of beehives.

Visiting a Summit Racing store in person, I saw a Pacesetter header and it was absolute cheap crap! The welds around the primary-to-flange area were not even welded all the way around, it was spot welded. Based on that, their exhaust system can not be much better, I do not suggest them.

no to pacesetter..or peiceofsh&*ter as i call it

i had the catback i bought from summitracing and it fit good but sounded absolutely horrible. with my second cb7 i got a full megan racing header and catback stainless steel. im happy with it as it came with a silencer if i chose to use it. sounds good. the pacesetter sounds like really pissed off bumble bees. avoid it.

A highschool friend had Pacesetter on hiss 84 Supra. It sounded good. It wasn't too loud but it was an improvement over stock. I never saw it prior to install though.

the muffler it comes with is very restictive after you hit like 130whp. you would have to change it....since my car doesnt come with alot of options...i went to the muffler shop and got a 2.25 inch pipe to a magnaflow muffler...and it sounds good...not too loud...but loud if you punch it...i got pulled over for a loud exhuast...stupid pig...he can burn in hell just cuz my 89 honda sounded better than his bwm motorcycle
