Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Datalogging Problems

    I have a P06 ECU, converted to P72 specs. That means I've added the IAB's and Vtec portions. That part works great with the regular basemaps but I have a problem with the datalogging portion.

    I installed the CN2 Header and tried to data log the first time with a MAX233 chip install as a serial converter but NO luck at all, It worked one time and worked only to send and read what the chip had nothing else.

    So I removed the max233 chip and bought a HULOG from xenocron, Installed it and still cant connect. I am using freelog. The latest version also.

    The port settings are correct between the computer and the hulog.

    All that comes up in free log is that Jonchi's code not fount. It fails the sanity test and dosent do anything else.

    How do I fix this problem?

    You did add the data logging and rtp plugin in crome, didn't you? Other than that Id guess there is an issue with your ecu. I had a lot of trouble getting my data logging to work right at first, I just kept on trying different settings and messing with it until I got it.
