Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    chipped p06 to p28

So years ago i purchased a converted p06 to p28. I was planning on going h22. Now fast forward about 6 years and I no longer want h22 but I might want to get a Bisi cam and a tune.
My question is I can un-vtec the ECU in some way can't I? or do I not need to do that? I plan to go hondata something prob s200 or 300. If I go with hondata do I even need to un-vtec it?

    Sorry for the noob question.

Yes I can solder and desolder and feel comfortable enough doing so. I have soldered stuff on my motherboard many times to OC it. I just need to know what to do.

You don't need to do anything with the ecu. Vtec can be turned on or off with the software you use. Wether it be hondata, crome etc.
Chipped ecu's always in stock p28,p06 etc. Pm for prices. Chipping and tuning services also available.
