Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    It says it will work with atmel At29c256 chip, just wanted to make sure im on the right track...

    The atmel's are actually discontinued now. Moates.net has a chip burner called the "burn 1" i recommend for its compact casing and ease of use. Only hondafan has ever had problem with it and it got resolved shortly after.

      I read that they were discontinued, however it seems Acclude can still get them possibly.

      So there is no cheaper replacement of the burn 1? I dont mind sacrificing size, and I dont mind having to tinker with something to get it to work, im a cheap guy and to me thats half the fun lol.

        acclude will be gone for awhile and the willem is the only cheaper product than the moates. Burning the SST chips with the willem is annoying tho. There are 2 different set of switch combinations for burning and erasing with the willem.
