i could make my own from home depot for less than 20 bucks they want....

just cut the lexan with a sawzall


as far as not being able to see it ..i want to get rid of the ecu bracket and have it out more..for easier access for tuning..etc...

Reminds me of the Sega gamegear and Gameboys when clear or "smoked" cases were a fad. It looks like a cool mod to do if say u have a stripped interior for drag racing.....however i would be afraid of that thing hitting direct sunlight if you live in a REALLY hot state....it could fry or damage the ecu maybe.

The fan looks aight but I never really paid attention to see if that ecu gets really hot? I imagine it probably does...my V-afc gets pretty warm on it's own.

I think for the price...yeah not really worth it u can make your own with the right tools. I would be more impressed if it actually had a swivel or some sort of door on the cover for easy access to change a chip in a socketed ecu.

I got that covered tape the part over the chip just pull off the tape when you need to change out the chip and tape back on when your done BAM!!! lol.

Lol tape? why not go all out and put velcro on the outer portions of the hole and then use the "side b" part of the velcro to cover it? Lasts longer than tape and Jdm to boot!
