Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Plx m300 install and CEL fix

Hey Ive had a CEL on for awhile since I installed my Plx m-300 unit. I remember reading somewhere that I have to install some resistors I believe where the old O2 sensor plugs in? If someone could point me in the right direction that would be golden, thanks.

    sorry to jump the gun.

I believe I need this if someone could make sure its the right idea:

20 ohm 10 watt Resistor below

which gets connected as close to the ECU as possible.

its not supposed to be a resistor, its supposed to be capacitors. what they do is just "filter" any noise that might interfere with the signal and make it less accurate. thats why its best to put them near the ecu. they are not really necessary, but if you want, you can still install them.
      heres the installation guide

anyways, which cell are you getting? I'm gona go ahead and say its the one for the o2 heater circuit. the reason its lit is becuse the circuit is not complete. you need to get a fuse to complete the circuit.

that, or disable the o2 and the o2 heater in uber/crome.

there was a thread that hemlocks made about the installation of the plx m300 a while back.
