yeah so I bought me a chip burner today. Dont really know what to expect of it but I think its time I start learning. I know I will need a few more things before I can start tuning but this is the first step i decided to take. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I will be looking for a H22 base map to burn soon if anyone can point me in the right direction.

Please DO NOT Post In The General Section
From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.
The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.
For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.
Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.
Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

Great choice. Best burner imo.
Make sure you install it as the instructions say to do. If yours doesn't come with instructions, then use this.

If you have problems even after the install, then your hex addresses are messed up.
Don't worry, it happens all the time. Just come back and tell you how to correct them.

thanks man I have been meaning to PM you and see if i could talk to you about tuning since you seem to be pretty knowledgable in that area.
I have been wanting to get into tuning for a while. I know I still need a wideband 02 which i am thinking along the lines of the Innovate Motorsports LC-1 or LM-1.
But in all honesty I have no clue what I am going to be looking at. I have always been a learn by doing and watching type of guy. I understand the basic principles by reading up on it but I still dont really understand it.
Any good write ups on the subject? So far I am lost when visiting forums on the subject where so many abbreiviations are used that I dont understand.
Smokeee420 - Any basemaps for the H22 or places where I can download them will be greatly appreciated. I plan on tuning with Crome or maybe going with Hondata in the near future
