From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    civic half radiator?

im trying to figure out what to use as my radiator.

im pushing 12 psi on a 16g and the H head.

A civic half radiator will keep me cool enough (i wont be going over 12 psi on this motor) correct, or should i step up and get an aftermarket?

Import / Honda tunning put a stock H22 in a civic and it ran hott all day long they recommend going with an after market radiator and water wetter.

You could probably get away with a Mishimoto half rad, or a Fluidyne 38mm rad. Maybe that with some water wetter or Cosworth cooling fluid

i read somewhere that the civic half-radiator cools better than our larger radiator...

i'm going to go ahead and assume that was wrong?

I have absolutely no idea, I wish I did have an answer because I couldn't keep my stock rad and I have just recently bought a Fluidyne rad, but I can't make any compairisons.

Well I can't tell you that either because it's sitting in my living room, I'm just waiting on a Spal fan to come in, since last summer I've had a Yonaka half sized Civic rad, but it wasn't doing the job, that's why I bought the Fluidyne, a Mugen thermostat and fan switch, so when the warm weather comes I hope it makes a difference
