Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    different electric supercharger

    interesting find i think.

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ELECT...spagenameZWDVW

its activated at full throttle, instead of having to hit a switch, having 2-3 lbs of boost for 10 sec, then having to wait for it to charge back up for two hours.
better than this one i say

for 100 bucks you could get 2 tank fulls of 110 octane. that would give you a big boost.

well basically what he did was took out the belt drive out of a twin scroll supercharger and hooked up 2 starter motors to it

100 dollars is a blizz grill
100 dollars is 2 tanks of gas
100 dollars is food (not a lot though)

im a lil bit interested in it don think itll work that good
is the same as a 25shot of nitrous

depends on the motor it could cause a restriction
its like blowing a running fan with an 50psi of air

Hmm, sounds interesting. I've seen many "versions" of these and always been skeptical.

It could work if it blew air into the manifold faster than just the regular intake.
Who knows ....someone buy it and tell us what happens?

There is only one electric supercharger that could actually enhance instead of hinder performance.

                      That is not it.

It is neither large enough nor beneficial enough for use.

A leaf blower on the other hand, well, that might actually work.

A leaf blower actually works though.......I remember a dyno video where they compared stock versus blower in the intake.....they did get power gains, lol.

Yeah, a leaf blower moves a decent amount of air actually. Not at all practical, but then again, neither is fixing up an old grandma car either!
