14b turbo ?

So I have the opportunity to get a 14b turbo from an evoIII for 50 bucks. So I ask the guy for a pic and it looks a bit different from all the 14b's that I see first the outlet is facing the opposite way which I am assuming you can rotate the housing I hope. It also has a J-pipe already on it as most I have seen have flanges. Will this turbo work or is it not worth the time.

im not sure if thats even a 14b or and small 16g but you can use it you might just have to pipe it diffrent

Anything than a 14B is worthless.

14B is the smallest recommended T for a CB, how ever it will def work! But 16G is betta meng.

Evo3 turbos the bigger of the two 16s...it has a flow capacity of 550cfm were as the regular 16g is in the 400s I believe..and the beloved 14bs that everyone and there mom uses flow in the 300s..im on my fone and im too lazy 2 look up actual specs..

If I had the evo3 offered 2 me for 50..id take it..buy a 20g compressor/wheel..have it rebuilt and balanced..and go on ur merry way with ur new 19c turbo..(the alias given to this hybrid) a lot higher flow capabilities I think its 640cfm or something..and not so easy 2 go into boost(better highway/city driving without always making the lil sohc see boost)

16g turbine wheel
20g compressor wheel
18g greddy compressor housing..

Pulls like a bat out of hell at 13psi.
Has full boost by 3,500-3,700 in 2nd and just rips to 7k..

Well then its definetly a 14b(td05h) unless it has previously been upgraded to the evo3..id still get it for 50..and spend the 200 on ebay for the compressor wheel and housing.turn that 14b into a pretty good mid sized turbo
