Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

the fitting is a screw in fitting (threaded like a bolt or screw). got it from stealth mod performance, like everyone else has, specifically for the 14b. it screw in fining but as it screw in and settle it had a wobble to it. but all thats fix now. the thread locker locks it and also seals it (for lubricated service). and when i say lock doesnt mean i cant lossen it. the locker comes in 3-4 different grades. reds the strongest and take 200+ lbs of torque to remove. i have 115lb type which is the blue grade.

for the ecu, thanks man, i totally forgot, i was so happy but now im like ah....
but from what i see i thinks is a manual.......anyone want to verify????

First, let's find out if we have an automatic, or a 5 speed ECU. If you don't want to plug it in and throw code 19 (automatic trans lockup solenoid) to find out it is an automatic ECU, then look at the code on the side. If the second to last number is a 5, then you have an automatic ECU (for OBD-1 USDM ECUs). If the 2nd to last # is anything but a five you have an ECU for a 5 speed.

so im thinking i have a 5 speed.

i dont have the v-tec chip and the auto chips and my number on the side is....37820-p06-a01.....740-615238

          ok, have a question...

i just installed the 450cc injectors, work fine but now when i hit the gas, it doesnt do anything, the throttle takes forever to go up or it doesnt go up at all....

theres no leaks from charge pipes or anything, only thing that was done was the installation of the injectors, could it be that the injectors are sending to much fuel due to the fact i dont have any thing to control them just yet???

yes, your bogging down the engine with too much fuel, and possibly even covering ur spark plugs with it on throttle tip in.

i used the stock ones, just drilled them out, took about 10minutes (after waiting 4 hours for the drill to charge up)

the oil fitting that goes in the back of the block is usually referred to ass a "T" also, even though its not shaped like one

                                finish relocating my o2sensor connector/o2sensor.
sense it was an EX i had to relocated to the front (like lx-dx model) so it would go to the DSM o2 housing.

looks nice, looks like it cam from the factory like that, ill get pics tomorrow. also put in a new bosch o2 sensor, which looks good also.

other thing i did today was change the home depot hose that was coming off the j-pipe to a radiator hoses that i brought from autozone, fits perfect and looks way better. no pinch in the top radiator hose anymore, the j-pipe hose is not even touching it.

also i went to the junk yard again, the talon was still there, i didnt really feel like doing anything so i didt get anything off it today, im gona go back next week and i just might take the downpipe off, being as tho i dont have one yet, but i really dont want stock, rather have 3inch. but im a most def get the coolant line of if for the 14b.

all im mainly waiting for is the p06 from my man Midnite, then i can hit the road
