Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

      X2...

I just bought mine Monday. It cost me 33 dollars. Now if you want to do it the "stock" way you will need 3 bolts, a stud, and a nut. This is where you need to make some choices. Each bolt is $8.XX, and the stud is $7.XX. The nut on the other hand is 9 bucks! I kid you not. I went ahead with 4 bolts at $8.XX a pop.
Been a long time. Still alive...

OH! I forgot. I would just go to the dealership and get it out of the way. I know it's a lot for 4 bolts and even more for the nut and stud, but DO IT!

I tried beating my way around some things on my turbo build and it's not what you want to do, I'm paying for it now. Do it right the first time and have a good conscious. Some things are just worth it.

i went to ace hardware and bought bolts from them make sure u get one with a strength rating of 10.9 i want to say they are a thread pitch of 1.25 and is an m10 or m12 bolt it is way cheaper and does the same thing except it is not from mitsubishi
unless u need banjo bolts and special bolts like double cut ones then i would never go to a dealer(especially when the closest one to me is a 50 mile round trip)

If your not using the stock turbo exhaust housing you may be able to get away with going to the hardware store. The problem with using your DSM turbo exhaust turbine housing is that one of those bolts is a stud. That stud doesn't go all the way through the steel housing. If you get a bolt that's too long you'll bottom out on the metal and not make a good seal. If you go too short you wont get any bite power. Just go to Mitsubishi and save some head ache.
