Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

    base map and crank Pully

I have a Jdm h22 with a turbonetics kit and p28 hondata s300 with a base map. Is it safe to drive it about 8 miles for the tune or just towe it? I also have a unorthadox lighten crank Pully, I heard it was not safe to run with turbo, is this true??
    Inputs are very helpfull thanks

x2 on not ripping on it. don't even hit boost.

i drove about 40-50 miles to the tuner, on 2 cylinders (my buddy mixed the spark plug wires up ) so 8 miles shouldn't be too bad. just use your common sense

          Thanks alot! I feel better.
Ill be safe and keep it in final gear, even though its tempting.
          lol
          thanks again.

Made it! Street tuned it, hitting the dyno on the 25th

j/w why you didn't just get her dyno'd in the first place and save money?

pretty sure my tuner would charge me double: one for a street tune, and again for a dyno.

Charging me twice, but hes giving me a deal, the dyno was full at the time so we justed street tuned it first.

UR pulley is not a good idea if you do not have your rotating assembly balances as well as having an circuitworx oil pump gear. Generally what happens is the stock oil pump gear shatters causing failure.

yes they do. Its the H22 gear. It is exactly the same as the f22 one and is also the one that i am currently running in my car.
