Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

Again if you have any questions, PM me or one of the other mods.

In the step-by-step part, you're not really gaining anything by resizing the dimensions of the photos unless you actually resize the byte size as well. The way you have it right now, it is kind of defeating the purpose, because the photos still take the same amount of time to load, plus the full-sized photos are what people would really like to see to go along with the steps.

If you would like to have thumbnails, I'd suggest opening up your photo in Photoshop and go to Image->Image Size and adjust it to a thumbnail-sized dimension. Then just go to File->Save for web. This will cut the file size down to an optimized for web-use size. Then when editing your page, just make the photo thumbnail link to the full-size version.

Also, some of the images that have a paragraph of text are hard to read if you have your video card set to a high resolution. I'd suggest using a table with text in a cell and the image in another.

        Other than that, nice job!
