From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.

The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.

For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.

Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

vacumn source = what we refer to anything that sees vacumn or boost... as any vac source on ur engine WILL see boost when u turbocharge it (Excluding checkvalved lines)

anyway.. so if ur wastegate problem fixed to were ur only running 3psi at Full throttle? if so good.. since u werent able to control it before... so once step forward.. good

                  now..

boost controllers can be set up various ways

                  but the best way is

vac source off the turbo or intake manifold----boost controller---turbo

another way that works for some ppl but usually may end up causing spikes if u have to raise the boost controller 2 much is bleeding the boost

vac source----a vac T---boost controller and the other part of the T to the wastegate.. u adjust the boost controller accordingly.. when it sees pressure it will bleed the boost to the atmosphere.. thus making the wastegate see less boost(your boost will be higher) till the wastegate sees enough boost for it to open

a quick way to check that u have the boost controller correct is

loosen it all the way till u feel no tension on the boost controller

blow on 1 of the nipple fittings.. and if u start to tighten the adjust knob.. if it begins to be harder and harder to blow air.. u have it correct..

                  .02
