Please DO NOT Post In The General Section

From this point on until otherwise briefed, posting in the general section of Performance Tech is prohibited. The only thing to remain here will be the stickies. We would just delete this section, but that would cause unintended results.


The majority of the threads created can appropriately be placed in one of the Performance Tech sub-forums or Technical; and the posting of them here is detrimental to the activity of said forums. If you have any questions about where you need to place your thread PM me or one of the other mods.


For the most part you all have caught on without this post, but there have been a few habitual offenders that forced me to say this.


Everyone will get a couple of warnings from here on out, after that I just start deleting threads.

    Is this a T3?

    Hey everyone. I got this turbo from a Saab in the junkyard. Im pretty sure the model was a 900 because it was a hatchback. The housing says Garrett and the A/r is .48. Im just wondering what type it is and if i can run it on my accord.

    it looks like a t3..is there a badge anywhere on it telling you the model and other info on it.

      naw, that badge is rusted through. It says Made in France.

        Can you see if there are any makrs on the turbine housing? Looks to be a .42/.48 T3.

        Too small for anything besides a d15.

        btw, a T3 is defined by the exhaust flange on the turbine housing. That pattern is a T3 pattern.

            well. sorta... the exhaust side on mine is a.48 a/r. that turbo is a little small..what is the `4b though?? to me that turbo looks a little bigger than the 14b. but idk...

                that's not a "4b" thats .48

                The compressor on that is decent, it's the turbine that's worth shit.

                  well i sold it to 93layback for 35 bucks. I hope he has better luck with it than i did. Ill settle for a 14b TDO5.
